I usually hunt either the prairies or the mountains, so usually it's spot and stalk for me. I've actually never used a blind or tree stand, but it sounds like fun.

Pop up ground blind from wally world. If it isn't overly cold, no blind and sitting with my back against a big old pine tree or oak tree.

I'm to fat for a tree stand, and don't want to spend money on a blind, just not usefull around this area. Either onthe ground or stalking for me.

Just started tree-stand hunting for deer last year - it's awesome! I shot a very nice 8pt buck on opening day. Can't wait to go and sit in my stand.

How about 'Pushing the Bush' or 'Hunting over Dogs' ?

Need to add as a poll option - used to do this - it's also effective and makes for some fast shooting.

I selected all but ground blind, because I do not have a commercially built blind (but would hunt out of one if I wanted to)

Wow, what an ignorant question. Are we to assume that all hunting is for deer or similar type big game? At various times of each year I hunt several types of varmint with both rifle and shotgun, a few fur bearing animals, deer, moose, elk and sometimes bear, three species of native grouse, and huns and pheasant, waterfowl icluding duck, goose, crane, snipe, in both field and in marshes, often by decoying and calling and/or with a hunting dog, on foot, horseback and by canoe, and with modern and primitive weapons. What's the point of posting (or answering ) such a vague poll?
