My buddy was telling me all the guys he knows haven't been having a whole lotta luck this year. Blaming it on the warm weather or something. This was specifically mentioned in reference to our general area, so Region 2 and into Region 3.

Anyone care to comment? I've seen some reports of successful hunts on here and whatnot, but Its hard to judge one way or the other from a few reports. Due to moving, I have not been out yet. I want to change that this weekend or next though... Just gotta find the time...
 
I have only been out a couple of times to snoop around. Have not shot one yet.

There are plenty of them up here in region 7. I saw 9 in one afternoon/evening.

I saw bear sign when target shooting last weekend but no bears, this was at a fairly common shooting spot though so I was surprised to see sign. Makes me think finding one would not be so hard.
