How hard would it be to become a firearms coach?

So, I was thinkning, and I thought to myself, how hard would it be for me to become an olympic coach?

Specifically for 25 metre pistol shooting.

Hear me out.

If I were to become an Olympic coach, I could then buy and own, legally, a pistol. For training and competition purposes.

I could then "coach" others to be olympic athletes, allowing them to own and acquire pistols for training and competition purposes.

I mean, none of my charges might ever be good enough to make the Olympics, but does that really matter? Does it matter if I am a "good Coach"?

Thoughts on this? Could we all become pseudo Olympic athletes and enjoy our pistols again?
 
Its a neat thought experiment, must need high levels of coaching qualifications to get. Would be hard, very hard. Catch 22 where you want to do it to get a pistol but would need a pistol already to qualify as a coach and do the training.

Would be easier to get a trappers licence. Takes forever.
The geologist surveying in remote areas also can carry.
If things have not changed that is.
 
Its sad what our government did all they did was creat an underground market i recently sold a glock upper and had to say no to 7 buyers either they had improper pal to purchase or out rite would not allow me to verify there pal you know damn well they were looking to complete illegal guns and i was haveing non of it i was ready to out rite cut that slide and barrel into pieces with my torch
 
To become a coach you must be an already first class shooter in the Olympic 25 shooting discipline.
You must have competed and been extremely good at it. They don’t take unqualified outsider to the discipline to say it bluntly.

Not really considering glock slides and barrels all have the serial that match the frame on them. I can seena knock on my door hey sir you got a slide and barrel from so and so and guess what it turned up at a crime scene no thanks not haveing non of that. Especially selling it to someone with a regular pal that is only good for non restricted
