I noticed that people were giving up on their stock sights pretty quickly because of their slop or being off centre. If the aperture is not too off centre and just a bit loose, then this might be a viable fix for it.
My sights were pretty loose out of the box but the hole was at least on centre. If your sights are the same and just loose(can push the aperture back down with your thumb easily) try doing what I did. I removed the cover on the sights and disassembled everything, then blasted it out with brake cleaner. When I reassembled the sights (make sure to leave 10 or 12 clicks below the zero on your elevation before botomming out) I tightened everything up to make sure it worked, then backed off the screw on the windage knob and applied crazy glue, then quickly snugged it up again, and put a bit more glue on top to creep in around the head. Once it set, my sights were nice and tight, and can be disassembled again without having to break a strong bond.
In a nutshell, the screw on the windage knob controls the tension of the elevation knob, and it works loose because of slop. Just glue it to stay put and there ya go. I'd advise against loctite and it's hard to get apart and they are delicate parts. Also, make sure that all the oil is removed before gluieng or it won't take at all.
hope that helps!
