In my experience with 18in CZ, fitted with a cheap optical scope, and regular Czech surplus ammo i can reliable hit soccer ball targets at 200 yards from a bench, sometimes the grouping is down to a 15 cm circle at 200 yards, but repeatability is not guaranteed. So it seems to me that 200 is pretty much the limit for any type of meaningful accuracy shooting from 18in CZ. My range does not have 300 yard lane so i would like to know what was your experience at 300 yards and how does 18in barrel spread compares with spread from shorter barrels (11in and such) at these distances. And what manufacture has batter quality: CSA, VZ or CZ? I used CZ in the thread name assuming it is a more general term for thi type of rifles. Thank you very much.
