How is the cerakote job from Blackbox Custom ?

I'm planning to send my Glock 19X to BB Custom and i want to know how is the cerakote finish from them ?

Does the cerakote is very durable ? I don't want any chip on my slide in the next few years.

My experience their cerakote finish is as good as it gets. My G34 has held up well to thousands and thousands of rounds. It has some holster wear but that’s to be expected.

I've had a number of handguns,rifles and shotguns cerakoted by BlackBox with no complaints. Even my filthy inline muzzleloader that gets hunted hard with is holding up well. My handgun and shotgun which I used for 3 gun are showing no wear as well. They used to offer a special a few times a year for cerakoting which was a great deal that I always tried to take advantage of.

they used "graphite black" on a pistol slide, it turned out amazing.
looked like original factory , only better.

Black Box Customs is one of the best for Cerakote work, they did a CZ 75 pistol for me and the quality of work is fantastic, and completed when promised. I would highly recommend them. I don't claim to be an expert on the product, but Cerkote does have some durability limitations, like anything else.
