Does the VZ58 locking piece change or adjust the headspace ? I noticed that the kits I have have different numbers on the locking pieces. Does each number give a different measurement or is it a inspector mark etc ? I need a headspace gauge in the field varriety . Any tricks or help on the headspace much appreciated .
Thanks, Jerod

Jerod, I wish I could help you, but I have no idea how it is headspaced. I have *heard* that if you change the bolt assembly, you can change the headspacing. Maybe one of the more experienced guys here will help out.

Can't be? Ive got one stamped 01, 04 and 06?

or maybe? is there any type of armourers manual that is translated to english?

I heard from one guy on this board [ In the gunsmithing section] that it is the bolt and now I hear it's the locking piece? Does anyone know what is really right ? I know this is the internet and opionions varry . Here in the US , VZ's are few and far between and most people dont know alot about them .
Please help ! Jerod

No offense to you powerwagon,

Luck may have something to do with it ?? I have seen alot of KABOOMS over the years and think maybe it happens without finding out the correct info about this topic. I would like to keep my face on my skull from awile and avoid expensive grenades . Why have you gone threw that many bolts ?
Thanks, Jerod
