Hey Guys, I am new to restricted firearms. I have purchased two so far, one being a bt ghm9g and the other a sig p320 m17.

I have received the ghm9g as of yesterday, and I read the transfer document "will be sent to me in a different envelope."

Is this automatic?

Second and most importantly, I have also read that the ATT conditions are now attached to my license, for which I have not received a new rpal stating those terms (I do have the rpal that was originally sent) but it seems to me that I need the Rpal to say I have those conditions attached. Or will there be another one of those pieces of paper that says (keep with you at all times and show upon demand to a peace officer). I tried the search function but it doesn't give me the answer I need.

Breaking this down to a simple question: is the CFO going to issue me a piece of paper for an att? Or am I allowed to use my gun at the shooting range that I was approved for when I submitted my application?

Sorry for the noob ness. I just want to shoot without going to jail, for the time being until JT makes me a criminal for just owning guns.

I got my transfer approvals on Nov 21st
Registration papers showed up Dec 5th.
Automatically sent out.

Still haven’t received my new license with att conditions attached. Not sure if I have to wait for the new license before going to the range but I’m assuming so.

I received my restricted at the beginning of November, about 4 days later my new pal came in the mail, and about 10 days later I received my green papers. Sorry i can't remember exact dates, and yes I was very surprised that my new card came that quickly. It was all fairly quick once the transfer was approved.

These are the questions and answers I was looking for. Thank you.
Got my first restricted last week. Certificates came in the mail yesterday 2 weeks after the transfer was approved. 1 more restricted coming next week. Still waiting on my new PAL.

Thanks guys! I am getting antsy to go shooting with my new guns but I want to do it right. So I will wait for my new RPAL to show up so that I am good to go!

Regards, gentlemen! I want to shoot with my new firearms properly, but I am growing impatient. Therefore, I shall wait for the arrival of my new RPAL before proceeding. run 3

I got in touch with the RCMP while waiting for my new rpal card to arrive after getting my first restricted. They told me in writing, if you have the firearm and registration papers. You’re good to go to the range with your original license card.

If for whatever reason you’re pulled over or what not. When they pull your license file in the computer it will show the ATT conditions.
