Hey, just wondering (moreso in ontario) how long it took to acquire your ATT? mine has been sent out for over a month and i have tried to call all parties involved to find out where it is sitting now. No response back as of yet.

LOL getting an att, well when i passed my clubs test to get the att, they were to submit the paper work, after wait a few weeks, i contacted my club and got told it was submitted, so i waited again and by the time the 6 weeks had gone by, i phoned the orillia gun office, and asked about it, i was told it had not been submitted. so again i contacted my club, and got a nasty e mail back, saying its not for me to contact the gun office about my att, well its my attt, i figure i should know whats going on

so i contacted the orillia gun office two days latter about it, and was told it was submitted the day before, lol go figure, fulled someones feathers. so after that, i had it in two weeks.

i have called my shooting range now 3 times and the lady that is to deal with it has not been in all 3 times. and the guys taht i spoke to told me to call the CFO office and find out if they have even recieved it. So the CFO has told me that in that day they would get it out and over to the shooting range again.

I left it for another week and never heard back about it. I called today and the gentlemen told me that he will get his wife to call the lady at the CFO that his wife is good freinds with and get the paper faxed if it has been lost in the mail or something.

Im not mad or anything just kinda wondering where it lies now. From day one this whole gun thing has been extremely slow. The test took 2 weeks to get back from CFO. then the license took 7 months to get back form RCMP and i had to call them to move that along as well. now the att is taking forever! however, it is the last big step so hopefully this works out now :)

Cheers for the replies

Its kinda funny, some parts of Canada will never require a cooling off period for gun purchases and such, they just rely on the inherent inefficiencies in the system
