how long do you think .....it will be before we start seeing .45 ar10s?

never? Sounds like subgun round which is it being used in anything other than the UMP? Or do you think it has merits for use with a suppressor?

Why in an Ar10? Would make more sense to do it with an ar15 I would think. Oly already makes them (if they ever have any in stock).

There are already a couple .45 cal AR15's in the states. As stated, Olympic Arms makes one, and MGI Arms also makes one.

There is supposedly a gas operated - rotating bolt version too, although im not sure of the availability.

In this age of CNC, could someone please design something new not based on a restricted lower? ;)

I am looking forward to the Thureon making it up here.

If you dont mind paying for the barrel, you can non-restrict an HK-USC45 or a Beretta CX4 Storm...

I have considered getting an 18.5" .45 barrel done up for my USC but I'd be willing to bet it would be in the 1000+ dollar range. Right now the 16 is fine...
