How long does a Norinco 1911 last - what round count would you NOT buy one used?

Well, if they're sturdy pistols, I can always clean up a junker ... thought I'd soon start building on it anyways... but I just want to know how they hold up. I have no way of knowing how the guy took care of it until I get it.

I bought mine on a mystery round count. It seemed well taken care of, everything fit well, no slide slop. I've put several thousand rounds through her. The only thing that's broke to date is my barrel link. Cheap fix. Honestly, they can go at any time. That's why you carry spares. For $200 it could be a steal :D or a stone :( . Spin the wheel. Ya's pays ya money and takes ya chances.
I'd go for it. The frame alone is probably worth it.

get the picture? Got a few Norc's, all of which are really worked
but maintained. A 1911 is the pioneer, parts are everywhere!
you can not go wrong for the price.

I 'm just wondering how long a Norc 1911 lasts - got a line on one for about $200 - but what round count is too high?

I don't think you should take the chance.

But I'll tell you what I am prepared to do. Have the seller contact me. I will buy it for that price. I promise to do a full life test on the gun. Once it is shot out I will then give you a full and detailed report.:D

For $200, just buy the farking thing. Worst case, it'll take a couple bucks to "tighten-up." You can't really lose on that deal.
