Do have to wait weeks and have it sent in the mail, or can they scan it and send it through e-mail or something?

I also have another question... can you just print off the page online through CFC that says a specific firearm is registered to you, and use that untill the actual certificates come in the mail?

I was talking with my CSSA course instructor at the training and he brought up the ATT situation...

He usually gives them plently of time with his request for an ATT (1+ week) and he said that he usually sees things sooner... he also does that incase he needs one quickly, then he may get better results.

When you call in, they should ask you when you are planning on transporting...

He said they have completed things in a half a day before, but not to count on it.

He also mentioned that he has a fax machine and just has them fax the ATT so that he has a copy... not sure about the email end of things.

In my experience, was the transfer of ownership of the gun is approved, its been 1 quick phone call for a short term ATT... its the approval of the transfer that can sometimes take time(sometimes not)
