I passed the test last year November, I send the application to BCWF right away. my credit card had been charged 30$ already, but it's middle of Jan now, I still don't get anything from them, I called, but no one answer! alway answering machine. what should I do?

thanks

?? I used to live in BC, why are you waiting for the BCWF? When you passed your test you should have received a certificate stating that you passed, take it to the government agent and got your hunters number. With your hunters number you walk up to any license issuer and presto, you have your license. Has something changed?

Yup.

Just take your test paper to the MNR and they will give you a temp license until your card comes in the mail, you can put your stickers on the back of it as well... well that is what they do in Ontario anyway.

These days in BC the BC Wildlife Federation is involved in the process as Canadagunner states. Then the licence comes from the province. I don't know exactly how or what the BCWF does though, I've had my hunters number for decades..

It must be your hunter number that comes from BCWF, your license is bought over the counter. Sounds like the BC gov. managed to pawn off more of its responsibilities on sportsman/taxpayers.

After you take CORE. you get a passed exam certificate, that you then send to BCWF to get your CORE graduate certificate. Then you still go to the government agent to get your hunter number, and can then buy your hunting license there or any other license issuer.
