How long for Registry transfer?

I recently bought a Norinco 1911 from the EE and the transfer was started on Nov 5th. Today is the 14th and it is still with the CFOs office. This is my first restricted purchase. Is this a normal time for the registration transfer or is it taking longer because it's my first restricted?

Great. I started a transfer a few weeks ago and both ends are in Ontario.

First one, up to 6 weeks just to irritate you.
At week 4 start calling the CFC, speak to someone there politley first before they transfer you to Ontario CFO office.

Just ask to talk to CFO office
I had a restricted trasfer sitting for 2 weeks, called CFO, was polite to the lady, she finished it up while I talked to her-
VERY nice person to deal with, no issues

Similar to Undertaker but I got my first restricted that day.
Called the CFC and got the transfer started and then called the CFO, to make sure it would clear, I was still waiting on a club memebership to go through, so I was panicy (to to avoid anything illegal). The guy at CFO's office the asked for the CFC file number, the guy said he would work on it, gave him my fax number at work and I had it before the day was done! Maybe it was because it was a private sale, but I'm not gonna complain.
Just waiting on the ATT now, so I can take it out and play.
