How long to challenge CFSC exam?

Hey everyone, I am new here and am going to challenge the non-restricted CFSC test tomorrow.

How long does it take? Any tips?

If your all studied up, it will probly take a couple hours. Written and pratical.

If you are challenging your PAL, why not go after your restricted while you are at it.

I have no desire to own a restricted firearm. I just want to get my non-restricted for hunting purposes.

From what I can see the test consists of 50 multiple choice and a practical portion. Roughly how long do you spend on the practical?

Depends on the instructor. Probly 30mins.... give or take.
 
As a challenge, you get no instruction, just the tests. The written shouldn't take more than 15 - 20 minutes, the practicle 10-15 max. How long it will take you to get the paper work filled out and signed will depend on how many are there for a challenge.
 
Thanks! I wrote it today. I was the only person there and aced it. It took about 20 minutes to do the written and 10 to do the practical. It was easier than I thought.
Plenty of time to get that turkey in the oven:)
