How long to get PAL/RPAL test results?

So I wrote my PAL and RPAL test in Toronto about a month ago. I have been following the guild lines stickied on how to hurry my license through the system so I sent my application in already to get the 28days started. The application has been received in Mirimichi for a few weeks and listed online.

How long does this usually take? I never got the impression that this would be the limiting factor on getting my license but my 28 day waiting period is going to be done soon and my references will all have called in already.
 
Each test is 50MCQ - takes a minute or two to put the overlay on top and check results... Similarly the practical is scored during the test thus just have to add up the numbers at the end which takes all of a minute. Hence should have your results before you leave from the course with your paperwork.

The guy who did the test told me I passed but he said official results will be mailed to me. This was done at Al Flaherty's in Toronto and other friends who have done their tests at that location also had to wait for them to be mailed. I thought the results needed to be ran through the CFO before getting them. I wonder if there is any way I can contact someone to find out.
 
I waited 31 days for my CFO - ON restricted paperwork, blue stamped, test results to arrive to my home. They provided me with 2 official copies.
 
In bantario the test scores need to be verified by the CFO for some unknown reason. It took me 5 weeks to get my stamped copy. You'll get them sooner or later:rolleyes:
 
Just upgraded .....Wrote exam Jan 27 ....Total time from writing the exam to rpal in hand took 3.5 months :( Welcome to the waiting game...Ont is slow
 
Check out some of the posts in the how to apply thread. Ontario has a major backlog right now. I wrote March 19. At the time the exam administrator told me 4 weeks. Nothing as of yet. Apparently one of the test verifiers was I'll and a backlog occurred. I called the CFO and they told me last week that they were approving tests received last week of March. Welcome to the wait. Just think, after the RCMP approves you for your license, it goes back to the Ontario CFO for final approval.

Yes. I did send my app to the RCMP in the beginning of April. Just faxed it when I received it and they have no problem with it. In fact I called the RCMP before mailing my app and the lady I spoke to told me that I should do it this way to speed things up.
 
So basically I can expect for the summer to be over before I can actually buy anything. How annoying. Its been 6 weeks since I passed the test. The RCMP have already sent me a letter saying my application is missing the results so I guess thats fine as long as I get them before August when they will close my application request.

It took me 8 weeks to get my results and then i express posted it out there. If they already have your app you will be buying before end of june.:sniper:
