I checked the CFC website and it says

"Current Status: Your application has been processed and your licence has been issued. If you have not received your licence within 2 weeks please contact the Canada Firearms Centre Toll Free number."

Does that mean it's in the mail? How long did it take for anyone else to get theirs once it says this. It said this on Saturday(28 or 29 days after they got it ).

... I think you've basically answered your own question. The" License has been issued", now it just has to percolate through the Postal System.... a week perhaps, dependent upon when it hit the mails ( Weekends, nothing much really moves ) ... David K

theres about 30 threads on this subject... i does say within 2weeks.. so you licence will show up in that time frame... mine showed up 3days aftyer my status changed to that

Well I was just wondering if they mean they sent it already or that means they've made it and might get around to sending it. Also wondering if I could expect to have it by Thursday.

that means they've got your name in the computer NOTHING ELSE they had this status for well over 40 days in my case

Not if it says "issued". I had mine in a week and my buddy's was two on the nose. Just depends when they mail because I think they only mail once a week. You are in Edmonton so I doubt you would see it by Thursday.

Phone em up and get them to give you your PAL number. That's all you need really.
I did that with mine a few years ago. Just phoned in, gave them all my information and got the number. It is not your fault the system is ridiculous, the application is approved so they should have to accommodate you.

What can I do with the PAL number? Can I order stuff online or can I buy stuff in a store?
