How many are running Muzzle Brakes?

We had our first match of the year, and several guys had issues with cross firing. This is compounded by the fact our firing points don't line up, there is a shift of the targets in the butts and therefore the position numbers are off - depending where you are on the line and at what range.
Needless to say, we have some work to do...
With that said, I found myself aligning on the target next to me several times after a few recoil impulses - which got me thinking (in the middle of a match no less:rolleyes:) about brakes.
I have one on a shorty carbine, but how many run one for Service Rifle?
How about those that don't that are thinking of starting?
Any negative effect on accuracy at the longer ranges?

Cheers!

I wouldn't be without one on my Service Rifle. Makes a real difference in rapids and two shot snaps. No negative effect on accuracy.
Installed a Shrewd brand on my Service Rifle, just fitted a Smith Enterprises on the carbine barrel. Was going to put the Smith on the SR, but forgot that I threaded the SR barrel 9/16". AR standard is 12/2x28. The Shrewd is quite effective, but vents 360 degrees. Bit untidy on sandy ground.
Sounds as if a bit of range work is needed, get the firing positions and target numbers sorted out.
