How many Canadians own an SKS? How many do you have?

It would be interesting to know how many upstanding patriotic Canadians own this cheap yet effective weapon. Does any one know how many have been sold in Canada? Is there anyway to find out? I dont actuall own one. Yet. It just seems that there is alot of them banging around.

I've had my Norinco for 15 years. Still in descent shape. Have an ugraded Monte syn stock and a Rifletech scope mount(purchased in the US and brought back with me)

Well I just sold mine, but to another Canadian. I'll pick up another in the future when I can afford it, as everyone needs a proper combat rifle.

To be honest, I don't own one and have never had any desire to own one.....

Just doesn't appeal to me ....... either shooting it, or collecting it......

However, that's the beauty of this hobby. To each his own and I really do like looking at the pics and hearing the stories about these rifles that my fellow CGN members own and shoot....

I've got 1 and will have another couple before the summer's out. I love 'em! The novelty may wear off a bit when cheap 7.62x39 runs out(like that'll happen *snicker*)but for now, it's prob. my most shot rifle.

I wonder who has the most collectible SKS?

I have a yugo m59 in the "vault" and a nasty little egyptian rasheed, which is kind of like an SKS. like a BMW is similar to a Geo.
