How many of you own a pistol or revolver in 30 carbine?

There was a AMT Lightning (?) in .30 carbine on here a looong while ago. Thought about picking it up, someone else beat me to it :(.
That's the closest I've come to a .30 carbine pistol :D :p .

A friend of mine has a Blackhawk and I've shot it but I don't own one, yet. It's on my list of 'must get'. I did pick up a set of RCBS dies though in anticipation of that day.:DIt's been a while since I've shot the one my friend has but as I recall, it has to be one of the loudest handguns I've ever shot.

Yes they are very nice to shoot . Got the new blackhawk 7.5 inch. I just wanted to get one to go with my m1 carbine. I like the blackhawk better than the m1. The m1 jammes up to often so its no fun, the revolver hasnt missed a beat. Was going to get the AMT in 30, but if its like my AMT 22 mag it is definately ammo sensitive.

I used to have a Blackhawk, never should have sold it, now I need another one. I shot one of those AMTs quite a bit back in the 80s (belonged to a friend and I did the loading, so...). It never fit me very well, and was a pretty fussy eater. - dan

Hey Dan,

I know where there is one for sale (New model Blackhawk in .30 Carbine w/ 7 1/2" barrel)...I have been wondering if I should buy it myself. It's listed at just under $500. This seems like a reasonable price, doesn't it?

Jeff.

I have one of the AMT Automag IIIs in .30 carbine, mine hasn't skipped a beat yet when shooting it. It is a 6" or 6.5 " longslide. It feels like trying to grasp a 2" x 3", but it's literally a blast to shoot. Huge fireball, lots concussion and no recoil to speak of. What's not to like?

Got mine the year they came out (late 60s) fun gun....
Very accurate, shoot all day without "recoil pain"
Although you must clean the cylinder every 100rds or so....
