Don't know if there is a minimum.

You have to submit a request to join the EE.

I joined EE before posting on here at all... it was what originally brought me to the site

Go into your User CP and look in Group memberships. Equipment Exchange is where you submit your request. You'll have to wait a couple of days before being approved. Welcome to the forum.
