how many rounds can my 22lr have in it while hunting?

Well I am hunting in WMU 56 in Ontario with calf tags only amount our group. I will be spending more time hunting partridge than anything I think. Commonly I just bring along my shotgun for this purpose but thought this year it would be fun to bring out a 22lr. Problem is I have several choices and one I'd love to bring but think it would be a no-no (GSG15)

In short I know we're at 5 for our centre fires (*exceptions ie enfield/garand) and our shotguns are limits to 3 but what about our 22's?
 
Just read a post on the rimfire EE where by a 10/22 owner had some mags that exceeded 10 rounds. And cited some regulations that required pinning. So perhaps some controversy?
 
.22 mag size is not restricted under hunting regulations. In the opinion of the RCMP some magazines may not be legal.

No, we're not. Excepting shotguns the only limit is what's allowed under the Criminal Code.
