How many rounds to break in an SKS?

If it goes bang the first time, it will go bang the next few million times. No break in required, the Russian did it for you.
 
lol my break-in process took 600rounds of x39 shot it till i got it so hot that the cosmo in the stock was bleeding out
 
0. It's a refurbished rifle. Some parts are new, others are not. Pound the hell out of it because that's what it was meant to do. It's not like a new handgun which does have a break-in period.

O.P. has a chinese sks I believe,based on his/her,list of firearms , so it is probably new not refurbed, No matter,Military rifles ,as commented before,, to break in ,load,,shoot,,repeat till you finger blisters or your cheeks start to hurt ,cause you are smiling to much! Or sadly,you run out of ammo ;0(
There ,all broke in,now break it in again!
