How many shells?

I have a benelli Nova and It can only hold 2 shells, can I legally take the plug out if im NOT hunting just shooting targets/clay pigeons? thanks for the help!

yes, a pump gun has no restriction on capicity if you're not hunting.

Yes, you can take out the plug for target practice. If you're shooting targets in the bush someplace, make sure it doesn't look like you're hunting in case a CO wanders by. Have some pigeons, targets, etc with you.

Welcome to CGN.

Just for your own piece of mind, check the game laws in your province, it might be that you don't need a plugged magazine for when hunting upland game, or big game, but you do of course for hunting migratory birds. Like these guys have said, no plug is neccessary for shooting clays.
