How much 231 for 147gr Berrys

Can anyone tell me how much Win 231 I should be using with my 147gr plated 9mm Berrys? I've checked the Hodgdon data and nothing is listed. I've read online that Lyman's lists this powder/bullet combination but I don't have a copy of Lyman's.

I use 3.8 gr W231 under 147gr. Haven't tried anything better so far....

4.0 /3.9 for a shorter barrel ,[ shadow ]

Rainier lists 3.7gr as the max for their 147gr bullets set at 1.169 OAL and just under 900fps., but have seen loads up to 4.0 grs .
As always, start low and work up.
I load 3.5grs Bullseye under a 147 Berrys @ 1.145 with good results in a M&P
1.015 is way too short for any 147gr bullet !

Thanks all who posted. I ended up going with 3.7 gr and it seems to work perfectly through my SR9. I am really loving this reloading thing!

What is you OAL ? I have an sr9 and I had to bump it up to 4.2 with 231 @1.130 to get it to function solid
