I have my CFSC coming up soon so its time to start comparing handgun prices. I know the standard response it going to be to check out the above dealers and yes I've checked them all. Their are few in Ontario that do not have a website and are not listed here and I don't really want to call all of them. If you have any of the guns listed below please let me know where and how much you paid for them. Thanks

Beretta PX4 9mm
Beretta 92A1
M&P 9mm
XDm 9mm
CZ Duty 9mm
HK USP 9mm
HK P30 9mm

I have the M&P .40 range/carry kit. Purchased it from frontier. Paid $679. I highly recommend a M&P. Great gun out of the box. Darn near perfect if you put some APEX trigger parts in it. For the price they can't be beat IMO.

Man all the prices are going to be within $20-40 of eachother. Just find the price of your local shops than look online. Shipping will be $10-30. Why do you need prices for all over ontario? Are you going to drive halfway across ontario to save $30? Ellwood epps, SFRC wanstalls and wolverine all have good prices and are great to deal with.

Good old fashion research. You might have to actually spend 20 min of your own time and write down some prices and compare. Or choose one or two models and ask the same question, not 7.

Personally, I don't think you should buy any handgun until you have had the opportunity to handle, and ideally, shoot different examples.
Unless you are going to be buying as a collector, have you identified a range where you will be shooting? Visited the facility?

+1
You've got da/sa as well as striker fired pistols listed.
Which do you prefer?
It may not matter to you, just saying it does to me and most other people.

You're 5+ months away from owning a handgun, so try to get out and shoot some before you decide on what to buy.
Easier said than done, depending on who you know or where you live, but shooting a gun is the only way to learn what you like/dislike about it.

The only pistol you can buy sight-unseen is a Glock. :D

disagree.
buy a few...sell the ones you dont like on EE and take a loss......

In Ontario you have to add HST (13% (Cuz Dalton sucks lepers balls (hope he chokes on a pair))).

Alberta dealers (others may be the same) charge only GST (5%) when shipping to Ontario, but then you have to pay shipping.

Since you're in Newmarket, drive to Epps, Al Flaherty's and Target Sports. Handle the guns you're thinking about (there like cars, TS might be able to arrange a "test drive", but you need to do more than look at internet pics and ask people on a forum, you would buy a car over the internet).
Decide on the gun you like and get a list of what you need to start with:
Cleaning kit
eye and ear protection
trigger lock
home safe/vault (depending on how/where you're going to store)
and ammo (lots of ammo)
Then shop for the whole list. The dealers may not have a lot of room to work with on the price of the gun but the other items may have a higher mark-up and be more flexability in pricing.

First hand gun was a 1979 Ruger MK1 Target. Cost was free, it was a gift from an uncle. Second handgun was a Ruger SR1911, Cost was free (kinda) it was an anniversary gift from my wife. I may have to pay for the next one :(

$929.25 for a Walther PPQ Navy from P&D Enterprises, going to pay it off over the next few paychecks. Layaway is a lovely thing.

Expensive, yeah, but I have faith it is money well spent.

Also, an FMK 9C1 from Arma-Coat for about $465 as soon as the exporter brings them in. It will interesting to compare it to the fancy Walther.
