The best way to find a good spare barrel for a Lee Enfield is to find a spare Lee Enfield. The barrel then comes with free extras: a bolt, a receiver, a rear sight, etc...
I was thinking of that, but you never get a forend, bands, etc etc...and the barrels are usually cut down, although not always.
Unless you really want to run the gamut of costs on a total rebuild or if you cn do the work yourself, keep your sporter as is for fun and buy a decent complete rifle. It will be cheaper in the long run and you may even find a non FTRed original.
