How much different type of bullets do you have for hunting?

I currently have two in the safe for my 30-06. I have Winchester Ballistic silvertips (for practicing, as they seem to fly the same as the accubonds outta my rifle) and Win Accubond CT's (my hunting round), both in 180 grain.
 
Well, about 8 or 9 thousand rounds for my .22's. I like to keep a few boxes worth on hand for my hunting rifles. And about a dozen different cartridges. Several boxes for some, one or two boxes for others. Plus numerous handloads for rifles I no longer own, but plan on getting back one day.:wave:

Probably close to 50 different types and weights of hunting bullets in 6 or 7 calibres for about 2 dozen different rifle cartridges ........................

I think I actually have a better bullet and brass selection than our local sporting goods store. ;)
 
Hunting? I have a couple boxes of Barnes', a couple boxes of partitions and a couple boxes of Interbonds. I don't see a huge need to stockpile a ton of premium hunting bullets. Generally I only have a few dozen actually loaded for each caliber at any given time

For practice, I have pretty much everything imaginable. Some of which could also be pressed into use for hunting, if necessary
 
For my 22 K Hornet..222...223 rem I have boxes of bullets in 40..45.50..52..and 55 grainers
In .243...60..70..75..90..and 100 grains
For the 30/30..308...30/06..110...125...150...165...180..200..220 grains

In the .338..175...200...225...250 and 275 gr Speers
.416 Rem Mag its 300...350...400 grains
.444 marlin 240..265..300 grains
45/70...300...350...400...500 grs.
About 70 % Hornadys and speer..sierra and barnes for the rest.

...plus various weights for each caliber in "my cast" bullets too.. except for the .224's......no factory ammo purchased in past years except .22 rf and 22mag rf
 
I generally keep 2-3 boxes loaded for any given hunting rifle. they may be in one or two weights, seldom more. Varmint rifle get a bit more on hand, usually closer to 250 rounds...the 222, my favorite varmint round, has 5-600 at present. As for rimfire, I'd sooner not say. Sufficient to shoot for some time! Clue (I buy 22 long rifle by the cases, not by the brick) Regards, Eagleye.
