How much is a 1939 all matching Mosin worth

Hello there
Considering that the recent imports of Mosin Nagants are selling for 380 plus taxes I would say that 375 isn’t a bad deal! The new import of rifles is also not in the best of condition! I have looked through about 20 of them and they all showed some sign of pitting and worn wood on the stocks! A hex reciever would also add some value! Unfortunately the mosin is no longer a 200 dollar rifle like it once was! For 375 you are still getting a very nice rifle in my opinion!

A '39 Mosin is a nice shooter grade gun and prices are definitely climbing. You could spend a few more dollars and get a hex gun in good shape - that's where the money is in the future. Round receivers are a dime a dozen and good for Bubba but the hexes are much more desirable. Having said that, a nice round receiver gun in good shape is an inexpensive way to get into the mosin world. There are also several excellent websites out there. 7.62x54r.net is probably on the the top sites.
PS there is no such thing as "all matching" in the mosin world. You might find one but it's a unicorn with a price tag to suit.
