What's the going rate for lead in your region?

Being offered Linotype or Pure (plumbing) lead for 1.75$, wondering how bad of a dead that is.

Biggest scrap place in this area gives you 0.70 for scrap lead so that gives you an idea.

As Yomomma mentioned good price for lino. This stuff gets harder to find.
I wouldn't pay that much for pure. Lots of plumbing pipe out there and that's close to pure.

Last time I bought any it was $1/lb for roof flashing pure soft lead

I was assuming that the lead was in ingots already...If you have to process the lead into ingots, its not worth as much.

I have bought lead as cheap as $0.37/lb
