I need some help in finding the value of a shotgun I own. It is a Browning Citori O/U shotgun, grade one hunting, 12ga, 3" chambers, 30" barrels, choke full & modified, made by Miroku (Japan) in 1979. It is in excellent condition except for a couple of very minor blemish. I acquired this gun early in 2001 and I am the second owner. It has been used very little and never had steel shot fired through it. So what is it worth in todays market? Thanks.

Ummm...a VG+ cond grade 1, 30" bbls, a full choke, and that beautiful recoil pad from the 70's? I'd say 1000 is being extremely generous.

I'd say 750-800 would be max. If it was choked anything other than ful/mod, add 100.00

Here is an equivelent grade gun, except with the box, shorter barrells, and a few hundred worth of briley tubes for 1400.....and it's been here a loooong time.

Thanks for taking the time to reply guys. I have thought about getting the top barrel choked to IM or modified or having screw-in chokes installed. I have used this gun for upland game hunting and for a little trap shooting; same as the previous owner. So it did not make any sense to spend the money when steel shot is not used. Any other comments?
