How much stock?

Hey, this is a question just out of curiosity. How much ammunition do you have on had at any one time total? I'm talking all different calibers combined, I've only recently started building up some stock and I have about 3500 rounds.

This has been asked before, not sure how to find it on a search, though. Many people won't tell you for fear of government agents in black helicopters coming for them. Personally, I have probably ~25,000 rounds all told on hand, with components to reload another 6-8K. I am trying to get enough ammo and reloading supplies on hand to last me 3 years, but the more I shoot, the more it seems unlikely that I can store all of that.

Sorry about asking a question that had already been asked, I tried the search function but couldn't find anything. I thought I was getting a pretty decent little cache.... looks like I have a long way to go!

It is not a crime punishable by death to ask a question that has already been asked. Sometimes it rouses answers that have not been given before. Since we have so many registered members on CGN, it is very likely we will have people contributing who have not done so before. Ask away!

I don't exactly know how many "rounds" I have, but there are at least 30,000 rounds of .22lr, likely more, plus... well LOTS of centerfire and shotgun. The more the better, in my humble opinion. Trouble with me, I get a batch of really nice surplus, I hate to shoot it off. But I like shooting, so I don't have much choice. Better go out and buy some more!

No worries. Unlike a lot of subjects that come up repeatedly, I am not sure how you would be able to find this one in a search, the key words are just too generic and hard to single out.
