How much to ask?

im selling the stock and forend for my 870. 2 years old in perfect condition and the stock and forend are stripped right now and ready for paint or stain.

when i post it for sale i am giving the buyer the option of what color they want the stock and forend to be painted, stained, or black rubber textured finish.

how much should i ask for each option? how much should i ask for it unfinished?

I just bought a synthetic set for an 870 in good shape for $75 in the EE.

helps a little. is wood more valuable than synthetic stocks?

I think they are fairly easy to find. Are they from an Express or a Wingmaster?

If Express, I would say 50-75, Wingmaster...a little more.

You can get synthetic camo new, for around 100.

lets say i ask what you suggested. im assuming painted would be $50 and if they want it stained then $75?

what im planning on doing is finding a buyer and then doing whatever they want. post pics after each coat of stain, if textured id do it how they want. as soon as i find a source in canada for the knoxx specops stock im looking for ill post it FS here.

knoxx said i would have to get an export permit as well as anothe rpaper from the government as well as pay duty and shipping...PITA if you ask me just for a damn stock.
