How much trouble is a tube-fed at the range?

I'm looking at tube-fed rifles but I suspect that unloading them and loading them whenever the range goes from red to green and vice versa is a pain. Does anyone have experience with tube-fed at ranges?
 
I have a Browning 22 lever that is tube fed. I can unload in 1 second. I don't understand what the problem can possibly be?
 
Got a tube fed H&R bolt action and it can unload all 17 or so rounds in as easy as 1 twist of 2 fingers.
 
What is the procedure for closing your range? The ranges I shoot at there is a request to close the range from a shooter then the others on the line take a reasonable amount of time to finish their string of shots. When everyone is ready we close the range for target changes etc. A tube magazine isn't an issue for this type of arrangement.
 
i regularly shot my tube fed guns at our range and not a problem twist pull the inner tube, dump contents from the tube. Pull the bolt open if loaded or not to show the gun is empty.About the same time as it takes to drop a box mag and open the bolt. If a member wants to go down range, they wait til an all clear is heard. and all shooters are away from the benches....just plain courtesy.
