How old is my Swedish Mauser?

Howdy Y'all,

CAn anyone point me in the right direction to date my Swede? I've tried the search function on here but didn't come up with anything.
Carl Gustav 6.5x55
Serial Number 221846

Any help would be appreciated.

the year of manufacture should be stamped on the receiver ring.

If I recall correctly from photos of Swedish mausers, the date should be stamped on the top of the receiver just under the "Carl Gustav" mark. If no date is there, I would hazard a guess at anywhere between 90-110 years old in general.

If its a 96 or 38 the date is there on the receiver ring......unless......its under the scope base.Aaaaaahh!!

It was there on the receiver. It's a new gun to me so I wasn't sure that that was the year. 1908.
