I acquired these as part of a lot of ammunition I recently purchased. I haven't seen these Browning boxes before? These were made in Italy under the Browning name. I have full boxes all in the same condition. I wonder too if these might be somewhat collectible to those who like to collect ammo? I've never been an ammo collector. I'm an ammo burner, lol.

From the price and the fact they are marked in metric probably around 30 yrs old. As long as they were kept dry there will be nothing wrong with them. Save the box and use them.

Late 70's to early 80's is when I remember buying those. I don't think they have any collector value. If yours are the version with nickel plated pellets they are very good, probably the best shells I've ever used. Even the "plain" lead shot Browning shells were loaded with top quality components - very good, hard round shot. They patterned evenly and hit hard. Your 1-1/4 oz #5 shells would be superb for hunting pheasants or late season sharptails. Probably could use them for turkeys too.
