Sorry to open this dead thread, the reason why I post here is because I just got a phone call from a police detective, who worked on my case and was told my case was closed since he cannot find evidence neither to support he didn't send stuff to me nor he sent it. So I searched in CGN to looking for some help and suggestion then I found this.
I am soooo disappointment with our detective, I know my lost not that big but it is still my hard earn money. They tried to close my case from very beginning, but finally they still investigate it very slowly since my strongly intent want to make this in right. I found a lot of information related this guy, including his facebook to help police(They almost found nothing by themself). After 2 months waiting they finally got his address from EMT and talk to him by phone kindly. He answered to detective he sent it to me and no tracking#, then done, the police told me he sent and there is no any evidence to prove he didn't sent, so his conclusion is the package maybe lost.
IMO, obvious there are some evidences can support he didn't shipped it out:
1, Rarely response for information of shipping after I paid.
2, No investigation with Canada Post after I noticed him I didn't receive it and asked him to check where it is since I don't have tracking number.
3, No any evidence could proof he shipped and I truly didn't receive it. He should give evidence to clean himself first.
4, He lay to police there is no tracking, the true is there is noway to ship package without tracking except flat envelope.
Anyway, I just found there is almost no way to punish fraud here even you go to Civil court...So we really need to careful about EE (this guy had a good feedback also, everything looks good before I did payment).
