Anyone have a number?
I am putting on a Hogue stock tomorrow and have the tools... I am wondering what the correct (recommended) torque is for the stock bolt?

If you know, please post.
:)

I suggest a drop of blue locktite on the threads
I had mine loosen up after an afternoon of shooting.
A drop of blue locktite and it has stayed tight, but can
still be undone if necessary.

it needs to be on there pretty good.
couple times i havnt put it on tite enough and it starts loosening up.
titen it till you cant wiggle the stock, then just a little titer.

I too experienced the "loosening" and did not enjoy it.
I fixed it by reaming on the bolt (out in the field with a screwdriver) - I wanted to do a nice job since I am at home and in a relaxed setting ;)

Hehehe... I got a reply from Hogue "Snug, then 1/8 turn." I will try a setting with my torque wrench that I think it should be and post results later when I've confirmed it to be good :p

Well, I just put it on and feel that 45in/lbs is the magic number.
It's not too tight to crush the plastic stock and not loose enough to come loose.

If I never post here again it means 45in/lbs worked ;)
Gonna test it out tomorrow ~Cheers
