Hey guys, so I'm looking to get a bi pod on my norc. I'm sure there's a thread on this but I can never get the search to work on my iPad. So basically Im used to the kind that attach to a sling stud but I have no idea how to attach one to my norc. I have a walnut stock and I'd perfer not to modify it but if I have to, I have to. So can some one reccomend a brand and where to buy?

I use the voltor rail on mine bc it works as a side sling atachment 100$ from armtac

I would make a small steel plate, rounded slightly to fit the contour of the inside of the stock, drill and tap it for the thread on the Harris stud and epoxy it inside the forend of the stock. Keep in mind clearance for the gas system. Trim the stud to clear the piston housing. You can mount it closer to the tip of the stock, but the further out you go, the more leverage and influence on the bedding of the tension between the stock ferrule and the barrel band, which can influence point of impact.

Pm me if you decide to go with the sadlak rail, it has a qd sling stud on it as well and is made for the m14 type. It would definitely stiffen the forend on the stock too which would only be good for accuracy.
