How to attach optic, Pistol W/ Pics

So I picked up this Girsan MC28, and was looking at perhaps attaching an optic. But, i cant find much info on this .Is it possible to attach an optic to this. I am reading you need an adapter plate, or have the slide milled.
Any insight into this would be greatly appreciated, as im really not sure what or where to go for this

You can also run a universal bridge mount. One that attaches to the bottom rail.

I was looking at those, not the biggest fan of the look. Is this the only real way to do it?. Im not finding much for adapters, like the glocks have.

No, I'm sure there is probably a rear sight mount out there me. But honestly sometimes it just easier to sell and pickup something with options. They call it a Smith & Wesson M&P clone so maybe the adapter for those will work if the rear sight dovetail are the same. I think it might be Novak style. But not fully sure, as I never handled one.

You need to get it milled. That's your best option. Rear sight dovetail adapters are wonky at best.
