I was in awe of your 6lb 9.3 double, I just ran the recoil calculator and it's actually quite sensible much to my surprise. If you believe the calculator it says your 6lb 9.3 recoils slightly less than a 10lb 375 H&H shooting 300gr- all in all a testament to the moderate 9.3! Impressed, would have guessed it would be severe.
I'm sure she gets your attention, but recoil's better than coffee. I'm envious, a 6lb easy carrying and pointing double would be an absolutely lovely field gun, that delivers real power. Hope we can get together one day Jon and shoot your lovely 9.3 and the Merkel .375 together side by side.
