If you go in and ask, it's just possible that you can get a couple of odd screws handed to you with "Have a nice day," because it's not worth the paper the invoice is printed on. If they have to order in, there will be a minimum order.
 
Another good reason for buying an assortment of the special fine series screws intended for gunsmithing is that you also have a set of the different sizes to use for checking an unknown thread. Far better and cheaper in the end than buying all the sizes of taps if you're never going to actually tap a hole.
