I just bought a bolt on muzzle brake for my SKS D but I can't see how its possible to fix it to the rifle? Its the longer muzzle brake (only one not sold out at Marstar) It doesn't allow for the rod? And seems to big on the barrel? Anyone run into this or have ideas?

I wish I knew how to attach links or pictures but I don't. The package says its a NcStar SKS muzzle brake, Item #AMSKSB If that helps any? Looks exactly the same as the Mosin one.

looks pretty simply to me, slide brake in and put the bracket behind the front sight and bolt it down.

Yes that is the one I got. I need to do some grinding on it to make it fit! I'll make it work somehow, Thanks Guy's
