I just bought a bolt on muzzle brake for my SKS D but I can't see how its possible to fix it to the rifle? Its the longer muzzle brake (only one not sold out at Marstar) It doesn't allow for the rod? And seems to big on the barrel? Anyone run into this or have ideas?

looks pretty simply to me, slide brake in and put the bracket behind the front sight and bolt it down.

I have the same. Never had to do anything to make it fit, it was out of the box and onto the rifle no muss no fuss.

You are entitled to your own opinion. And you got it in albeit in the wrong thread. Congratulations, but the guy is asking for help on how to get it on ,not your opinion on muzzle brakes.
