I've been looking for some Walther P22 mags for some time, and I see that numerous other people in the Exchange are having trouble finding them too.

I tried ordering them from my local shop, but they were never able to get them

Anyway... I finally resorted to asking a dealer on e-bay if he would sell me some. He said that it is no problem (all P22 mags are 10 round anyway), you just can't do it through e-bay because e-bay has these goofy policies about not allowing sellers to sell gun parts to non U.S. buyers. We got around this by just sending him the money directly... without an e-bay bid.

The price was $46 for two mags + $16 shipping by air. The shipping was very fast. About 4 days. No hold up from Customs or anything. Note that some Canadian dealers try and sell you P22 and Mosquito mags for $50+ each.

These are the mags;

He is located in California. Not sure how many more he has, but it sounds like he's got a number of them.

O.k.,.... that's an interesting point. I was thinking about that... as the packaging on the new mags looks kinda old... but the mags are the same as the ones that came with my 2006 (AG) gun.

The finger rest mag that came with the gun is: 265 93 44-A.

The two new ones I got are also 265 93 44-A.

The non-finger rest mag that came with the gun is: 265 93-36-A.

What the difference is there, I have no idea. The metal part of the magazine (where the numbers are) is exactly the same on all four mags. The baseplate can easily be removed and switched with another mag.

If any of you guys do order from Jim, maybe just confirm that they are "A" mags. Mine were and yours should be too... but SLANTO raises a good point.
