How To Insert T38 Dust Cover?

Hi I just received a T38 dust cover for my Arisaka. Can someone tell me the proper steps inserting this thing? It keeps popping off when I move the bolt, help please

OK nevermind I figured it out; brute force. I'm not kidding, I found out one of the two tracks the dust cover is suppose to travel is too thin, so I hold the dust cover down while pushing it down the action and it just stays there now, cool
