so my buddy and I had too much free time last week, and got upto no good with our glocks.
takes 5-10 minutes to put on, depending on how meticulous you are, and removes clean in seconds.

disregard the actual content on the skins, it's meant to be as non-serious as we could come up with. i think we nailed it with the most recent one on my G23.

My G23

and one of our earlier ones on my G17 (hello kitty, half & half)

and my 1911 (tight pattern hello kitty black/olive camo. didn't print as i had expected, but whatever)

When, oh when will somebody do this with My Little Pony? Then I'll have an excuse to buy another gun, "for my daughters."

Shot the G17 yesterday. Worked flawlessly, still looks flawless. Powder residue around the muzzle wipes right off.
It's essentially a sticker, that holds it's form rather well once it's in there.

Of course they are now non-restricted lol, not very scary if you get my drift...lol

Could you imagine how many Hello Kitty Ar-15s there would be if this were true? You'd see thousands of guys dressed in camo, hunting with pink and white ARs lol.

so they have been too the range and cleaned a few times, and are holding up pretty well. powder residue wipes right off, and the heat from firing makes this stuff stick better.

it's a vinyl printer of some kind for signage and the like.

Good meeting you guys at the range a couple wknds ago. Those vinyl jobs had me fooled. They looked factory. Get the Barney one done yet? lol

So, you just moisten (heat) the adhesive side and stick it on?
no heating required. it's more or less a semi stretchy sticker. apparently heating it can help stretch and smooth it out. and heat is supposed to help lock in it's shape. i only heated it a little the stretch it into the serration on the slide of the g17. the carebear one i didn't bother, and it turned out fine.
