How to measure a dovetail

I have a 1911 and I want to put a set of adjustable Champion sights on it. The champions require a "low mount Novak" cut dovetail for them to be installed. Here's my question:

The sights on the gun are called "Novak style" by the manufacturer, however they are not true Novaks, and I'm not sure that means they are fit in a Novak dovetail. How do I take measurements to see if it is in fact a Novak cut dovetail? Anyone have pictures of a slide with a low mount Novak cut? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

a novak dovetail measures: 330 thou long ( at the bottom of the dovetail), 75 thou deep with a 65 degree angle.

( 75 thou seems to be the most common, but there is also 60 and 65 thou deep cuts as well )

use a outside caliper then take your readings with a venier caliper to make sure they match to what iconfig has given you

Ok so here's a craptacular diagram of my measurements. If I measured the right areas the dovetail seems to meet the Novak specs. So the Champions that (and I quote) "Fits the commonly-encountered Novak LoMount Sight Dovetail" should fit correct?

( i got bored and made up a blueprint for you ;) )
1300, im fairly sure it will fit, if not you can always send it back

another quick question so I can measure in the future:

when you see a dovetail measurement, for example "this sight will fit the 0.330" x 65° x 0.075" dovetail cut " Dose that mean 0.330" deep at the bottom, with a 65° angle and a depth of 0.075" (like the novak)

Is the typical format for displaying a dovetail measurment:
width at the bottom X angle X depth?

Thanks
