I want to reduce my P22 barrel to the legal 105mm, but also want to get it right. Can someone confirm for me that the correct way to measure barrel length is breach face to the end of the rifled portion of the barrel?
Thank you, I had ordered the 8mmX.75 die before Christmas and the mailman delivered today, I needed a little after Xmas project. I think a fake can is in order as well since teh die came with the matching tap.
So it's to the end of the rifling, even if your crown is recessed, you measure to the end of the rifling? I will be choping the barrel of a Beretta 71 I just bought in the EE down to 106mm, just want to make sure.
