How to open the action on an old double barrelled shotgun - side pin

I'm not able to open up this shotgun action. Any ideas of how to do it?

I don't ever remember seeing a pin sticking out that far, can you move it in and out with the lever?
Could be tight, but most of these guns are loose.
Looks like belgun gun
have you gave it a real good pull, it is a ejector gun , these is lots of spring pressure, but from the picture, I would think just extractors, give it a whack with a rubber hammer.

yep, the pin goes in and out easily, but i just cant make the action open. I'll keep soaking it.

Just a random thought as I do have often... Have you looked down the bore and made sure it was clear right to the firing pins? Nothing jammed in there? Just a thought.

There are most likely one or two locks engaging the barrel underlug, which aren't being pulled back when the lever is swung. Unusual for a Greener style crossbolt to be the only lock.

Yes, that was it. The shaft on the top lever was broken, thus not pushing out the lower block.
