how to piss off a moose

wow. what an idiot. shoulda waited for a broad side. maybe the moose wouldent have charged and nearly gotem then. hopefuly the moose didnt run to far. from a front shot like that.

i dont think you could pay me enough to hunt a moose on the ground with a bow... especialy that close when the moose is clearly pissed off. (that weaving back and forth means they are mad and think your trouble, and think your another male)
 
Not sure if you guys have seen the one on huntingfootage.com but its a good one as well. The guy has a rifle in that video though...

Absolutely. I shot mine this year broadside 13yrd double lung shot. The bull walked 7 yrds and tipped over dead. Less then 10 seconds he was on the ground and less then 30 seconds he was dead. Complete penetration with an exandable broadhead. A bow and arrow is an EXTREMELY efficient killer. Capable of taking Elephants with the right setup. SHOT PLACEMENT is key as is with a rifle.
 
Just about anything hit with an aroow in the vitals has a very VERY short time afterwards.

I've never taken a moose with one, but I reaaaaly want to! What a hoot!!
 
Arrows will kill them just fine. That has got to be one of the most irresponsible bow shots I've ever seen taken though! :mad::mad::mad:

killzone: i hafta agree with that. everything ive been taught is you never take a front shot like that with a bow. there is so much bone up the front there that its very unlikely the arrow will get to anything vital.
